Had an amazing dining experience at Moti Mahal. The food was rich, authentic, and full of bold, satisfying flavors. The naan was soft, warm, and ideal for soaking up every last bit of sauce. The ambiance is welcoming, with attentive staff who made sure everything was just right. Whether you're a fan of North Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, Moti Mahal delivers a delicious, memorable meal every time.
A classic and historical spot on Gerrard, we had a great time at MotiMahal! Their food was delicious and authentic, bringing the taste of the street food and dishes to India right here. It was fairly busy when we were there with lots of groups of family and friends there. You can't go wrong with this place.
Didn’t see the negative reviews until I checked it out. Had a different experience: Best street food style in little India. Tried the Chanaa Bhatura because I wanted to try the puffy Poori/Bhatura bread, lentil was spiced. No disappointment. Didn’t have high expectation of service since it’s self serve street food style. Now that I reflected back, upon cashier check out, it was quick and didn’t have steps to tip on bill.
The best Delhi style food you can get in whole of North America. I have tried most of the places across cities and no one can beat this place. The chhole bhature is to die for. You just cant beat them. The thali/chats/Indian sweets are lip smacking. The pricing is very competitive and it’s a Great value to get such tasty food at those prices. It’s not a fine dining restaurant. I don’t care about service and how it’s a tiny place. I am here for quality tasty food. Rest all is noise.
Great attitude! Just finished our dinner and we were visiting from Florida! The place and food is amazing... we tried all meat and veggie thali. Not to miss the mirchi. Don’t read negative reviews you have to go try them out.
Dine in with family. Rajkachuri Masala dhosa Just mouthwatering dishes.
I had a great experience at Moti Mahal! It’s a classic spot in Little India, offering some of the best street food around. I tried the Chana Bhatura, and it did not disappoint—the Bhatura was puffy and delicious, and the chana had just the right amount of spice. The service was what I expected from a self-serve street food place—simple and quick. At checkout, the process was smooth and fast. The place was busy with families and friends, but the atmosphere was welcoming, and the food was authentic and full of flavor. Highly recommend this spot if you’re craving Indian street food
My favourite place in Little India, I always come here for the made-to-order Chana bhature. Huge, perfectly puffed deep fried bread with a great chickpea curry and phenomenal potatoes. It's a bit on the oily side, I think it goes with their fast casual vibe. The place isn't trying to be fancy. I think it gets criticized because of overly high expectations, when it wants to be casual and comforting. It's order at the counter, where you sometimes have to assert your own position in line. There's a single long aisle of seat-yourself tables, and staff who aren't always happy but will always make sure you get plates full of food. Beers and Lassi and chai and Indian sweets round out a great menu.
